Underwear can make or break an outfit. Whether it’s a visible panty line, an uncomfortable bra strap, or the dreaded nip slip, these wardrobe malfunctions can put a damper on your confidence and ruin your entire look. Kylie Verzosa‘s newest venture, SOLÁ, aims to solve this problem.
An innerwear brand that initially launched with a line of shapewear, SOLÁ just came out with another product: nipple covers. I got to try them out, and here’s the TL;DR verdict: I’m so glad I have them in my arsenal now, cause these little things are a game-changer. Here’s why.
First of all, let’s talk about the design. These nipple covers come in three shades to match Filipina skin tones.
Thin and seamless, they’ll stay discreet under any clothing — even the lightest, thinnest fabric.
They’re also sweat-proof and water-proof, made of silicone and medical-grade adhesive, so you can wear them confidently even in the hottest of days. Plus, they’re reusable!
What I particularly liked about the nipple covers is how it’s packaged. You can get them in either the Space Packet, which is an opaque, resealable ziplock bag, or the Space Pouch, which is a stylish SOLÁ-branded silicon bag.
I loved the Space Pouch because it makes it so much easier to keep the nipple covers clean in between uses. It’s perfect for travel — you can literally throw it in your bag and not worry about it getting dirty or losing its stickiness.
The No-Show Nipple Covers are part of SOLÁ’s Mercury Collection, which has a wide range of shapewear options. From high-waisted shorts to tummy-tucking bodysuits, these pieces are designed to enhance your natural curves and give you a smoother silhouette under any outfit.
I got to try the Mid-Thigh Shapewear Bodysuit. When I first unboxed the bodysuit, I was a little apprehensive because it looked tiny!
But the sizing on their website is accurate, because the shapewear fit me perfectly. NGL, getting it on was a bit of a struggle, but once it was on, it fit like a glove and was easy to move around in. It smoothed out bulges and lines, and I instantly saw the difference it made in my outfit.
My only qualm is that it doesn’t have a snap closure on the crotch, so going to the bathroom can be a bit of an ordeal.
Overall, I’m impressed with SOLÁ’s products. Not only are they effective in addressing common wardrobe issues, but they’re also well-designed and comfortable to wear. The price points are also reasonable — the No-Show Nipple Covers cost ₱285 (w/ Space Packet) or ₱385 (w/ Space Pouch), and their shapewear ranges from ₱1,185–₱1,585. SOLÁ’s Mercury Collection is definitely worth checking out, and we can’t wait to see what else the brand has in store.
