Reignite your artist dreams with Ayala Museum’s Summer Art Workshops 2016 through the tutelage of some of the country’s best artists.
Starting the workshop strong is contemporary artist Jason Moss as he teaches Basic Oil Painting on April 9, 16 and 23. Moss is known for his simple-yet-intriguing oil work, which makes this first workshop a must-go for future painters.
Basic Drawing will be taught by Eleazar Abraham Luna Orobia, member of a prominent family of artists and a successful artist himself, on April 16, 23 and 30. Check out Orobia’s works here.
Eileen Bondoc-Escueta, a genius in oriental brushwork, watercolor and acrylic and oil, will be teaching the Basic Watercolor workshop on April 16, 23 and 30. Check out her own website here.
Jonathan Ranola is an award-winning published artist who brought to life the stories of Home Care Toons, Florante at Laura (UP Centennial Edition), Kayumanggi and Muling Pagbabalik ng Perya, among many others. He also won honorable mention in the 2011 and 2012 Alcala Illustrators Prize of the Philippine Board on Books for Young People. Ranola will be facilitating the Basic Acrylic workshop. A mandala is a geometric symbol that represents the universe in Indian religions, which also functions as a spiritual guidance tool in meditation. Amos V. Manlangit, a Major in Painting and a Master’s graduate in Education from UP, will be spearheading the workshop.
