Just a few months after Folklore was released, Taylor Swift is back to save 2020 once again. On a tweet on Thursday night, Taylor broke the internet again with a surprise: another full-length album called Evermore. We’ve rounded up some hilarious reactions from fans that are just too relatable:
I’m elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore’s sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It’s called evermore.

Taylor Swift has been writing songs non-stop since Folklore’s release (girl do you even sleep?) and the heartbreaking album’s sister record will be called Evermore. It will be released at midnight eastern time, which is 1 PM in the Philippines. Guess we’re eating tears for lunch?
Sharing the seat at her musical kitchen table are familiar names (and masterminds) Aaron Desner, Jack Antonoff, Justin Vernon, and “WB” aka William Bowery. It’s the pseudonym her boyfriend Joe Alwyn uses, as revealed in her Folklore concert with Disney Plus.
Ever since I was 13, I’ve been excited about turning 31 because it’s my lucky number backwards, which is why I wanted to surprise you with this now. You’ve all been so caring, supportive and thoughtful on my birthdays and so this time I thought I would give you something! pic.twitter.com/wATiVSTpuV

The standard edition of the album will have 15 songs while the deluxe edition will have two bonus tracks, Right Where You Left Me and It’s Time To Go. By the looks of it, it seems that the album will be a tearjerker again.

We all know that Folklore was produced during the months-long isolation and it’s apparent that Taylor Swift has found comfort in producing songs, cause she’s surprising us with another full-length (!!) album. Meanwhile, most of us are struggling to simply function…

We still return to Folkore on days where we just need a good cry and admit it; you still haven’t memorized all of its lyrics yet! More background music when we just want to hurt ourselves, am I right?

Evermore will be coming with collaborations with other amazing artists and Bon Iver is coming back on the list with a new song of the same name. If their exchange in Exile didn’t hurt you enough, will this one hurt more?

Will they let you hang out with them? Aside from the collaboration with Bon Iver, Evermore will be featuring other artists like American pop-rock band Haim (aka the coolest sisters ever) with the song “No Body, No Crime” and with American rock band The National with “Coney Island”. The kid wearing the glasses in the photo can also be Jack Antonoff, Taylor’s good friend and long-time collaborator (you might know him from his work with fun. and Bleachers).

If Taylor Swift appeared in your top artists’ list in Spotify’s 2020 Wrapped, chances are you’re just a bunch of Taylor Swift lyrics glued together as well. Taylor’s provided us with amazing tracks we’ve fallen in love with over the years, some of them anthems that helped us get through tough times. Honestly, she’s got a song for every mood!

This is the only way to save yourself from the pain that Evermore might be. See ya on the other side!
Haven’t listened to Evermore yet? It’s already on Vevo — listen here.
