Taylor Swift in Tokyo Lottery Round 2 Is Open (!!!) With New Seat Type Options

Jul 28, 2023   •   Meryl Medel

Filipino Swifties, it’s time to rejoice! You’ve got another chance to see Taylor Swift and get tickets to the much-awaited, very in-demand The Eras Tour. Lawson Ticket just announced a new round of lottery for the four-day concert, and there are even new seat types! Here’s what you need to know about this second round of the lottery.

How to apply for The Eras Tour in Tokyo ticket lottery

If you weren’t able to apply for the previous ticket lotteries, the Japanese websites can be confusing. But ICYMI, we wrote a step-by-step guide that can help you navigate the unfamiliar Lawson Ticket website. It’s quite a long, tedious process, but all for Inang Taylor, right? Check out the guide below:

What tickets are available now?

Unlike the previous lotteries, not all ticket tiers or seat types are available this time around. Only the following ticket tiers are available for ticket lottery application:

  • VIP 1 or It’s Been A Long Time Coming VIP Package – JPY 122,800 + 960 service charge + 220 system usage fee + 330 electronic ticket service fee = JPY 124,310 (about PHP 48,900)
  • VIP 3 or I Remember It All Too Well VIP Package – JPY 52,800 + 960 service charge + 220 system usage fee + 330 electronic ticket service fee + 330 electronic ticket service fee = JPY 54,310 (about PHP 21,400)
  • S SEAT – JPY 22,800 + 960 service charge + 220 system usage fee + 330 electronic ticket service fee = JPY 24,310 (about PHP 9,600)
  • A SEAT – JPY 18,800 + 960 service charge + 220 system usage fee + 330 electronic ticket service fee = JPY 20,310 (about PHP 8,000)

On top of these previously announced seat-type options, there are three new ones that you can also consider, namely:

  • Stage side seat (with obstructed view)
  • Masu Box
  • The 3rd Platinum Box

Below are some important details about each seat type:

Stage side seat (with obstructed view)

These seats are at the edges of the stage, some nearing the backstage, so you won’t be able to completely see the main stage and the big screen. You’ll be able to see the extended and diamond stages, but Taylor will be facing front, so it’s mostly just her back. Often, there are smaller screens to make up for this obstructed view.

Price – JPY 14,800 + 960 service charge + 220 system usage fee + 330 electronic ticket service fee = JPY 16,310 (about PHP 6,500)
