Taylor Swift just dropped her tenth album Midnights a couple of weeks ago, and she’s already giving fans another gift! At the heels of her historic domination of the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, Taylor Swift announced her sixth world tour! Aptly called The Eras Tour, the Artist of the Decade said the tour is meant to be “a journey through the musical eras of [her] career” from the past to the present.

Beginning in March 2023, her US leg of the tour will have 27 show dates across 20 cities. According to the popstar, international dates will be announced soon, so it’s likely that the actual concerts will be scheduled towards the end of 2023 and in 2024. Despite The Eras Tour dates still being far away, Swifties all over the world have been hyped since the announcement, leading to many relatable tweets that we can’t help but just like and retweet.

Filipino Swifties have also been hoping that the pop star brings her world tour to the country. Local fan bases have organized to submit the Philippines for consideration for The Eras Tour, citing either the 55,000-capacity Philippine Arena in Bulacan or 75,000-capacity KJC King Dome in Davao as possible venues.

Taylor Swift last visited the Philippines on June 6, 2014 for The Red Tour in Manila — nearly a decade ago. The country was skipped during her 1989 World Tour and Reputation Stadium Tour.
