Remember those old school Facebook games that annoyed us with invites (hello, Farmville)? Facebook now looks to compete with PC game apps with its latest project called Gameroom. This is an opportune time for Unity developers to introduce their game in the Gameroom because of Facebook’s immense number of potential players, not to mention a feasible route to monetization.
Well look what we have here. Microsoft is actually pushing kids to play Minecraft in class as an educational tool .It might be a bit tricky for teachers to utilize this technology. Every kid will love to play Minecraft, but it would be interesting how teachers will come up with a lesson plan that includes building a fortress in a virtual world.
We got the chance to drop by at ESGS this weekend and we found Barangay Basketball, a mobile game created by Synergy88 Digital. The game follows the life of Wax and his journey in becoming a basketball superstar just like his father, who was a former Filipino basketball legend. The game’s backdrop is Tondo. The game is pretty sleek and the production value is excellent. The best way to experience is to actually play it. Go and download it at Google Play now.
It’s here and it’s heartbreaking. While the latest is an upgrade fromt he previous MacBook pro, its performance is nowhere near its main competitors. The touch bar model may be fancy, but you don’t get it in the vanilla price. Instead, you’ll have to fork out a little more (actually a lot more) just to say that you own the latest MacBook Pro. In all, this latest model has nothing more to show than the touch bar. What will they remove next?
