Germany’s Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt asked Tesla to stop advertising its Autopilot as a safe and reliable feature on its electric vehicles when it’s apparently not. Just a few months ago a person crashed and died when he put his Tesla on autopilot mode, seemingly proving that the future has yet to come upon us. Can you imagine switching to autopilot mode in our unreliable roads?
Remember those futuristic movies where the protagonist tries to hide from patrolling drones? Well, someone invented a UFO-like drone. And it’s hauntingly beautiful and eerie.
Given the sheer size of China in terms of viewer market, it’s quite understandable why Netflix would try and penetrate it. But China won’t easily allow a foreign entity to milk money out of its citizens. China’s strict regulations against foreign entities prompted Netflix to halt its plans to push its original shows to the Chinese market. Instead, Netflix is planning “to license content to existing online service providers in China rather than operate our own service.” This year alone, Netflix launched its services to 130 countries. The only countries that don’t have Netflix are China, North Korea, Syria and Crimea.
The United States just banned the Note 7 in all US flights, forcing passengers who own it to leave the plane. If not, they can be subjected to civil penalties of up to $179,933 for each violation. And it seems that the Philippines is doing the same in our airports. Sorry, Note 7 users.
