In case you’ve been sleeping the entire weekend and you missed it, Kelsey Merritt got confirmation that she’ll be walking in the prestigious Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show later this year. She’s the first Filipino that will walk the runway where the likes of Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Tyra Banks, and more jaw-dropping supermodels have walked! Kelsey did her country proud by breaking ground for Filipinos in the fashion industry, it wouldn’t come as a surprise when, after all this, there will be more opportunities for Filipino models to showcase their talent in international stages.
Kelsey has always dreamt of working with Victoria’s Secret since she started her modeling career years ago, she initially had a lingerie and sports line photo shoot with the brand back in May and June 2018 and that set her on the path to becoming a part of the Fashion Show later this year.
But we sort of envisioned her as a Victoria’s Secret model even before it was announced. Check out a few of her gorgeous Instagram posts!
