It’s “unsticking your thighs from plastic chairs season!” In case you hadn’t noticed, the heat index, which is the temperature felt by the human body, is soaring like crazy. A couple of weeks ago, Dagupan had a recorded 51.7°C heat index, that puts the air temperature by 37°, and in case you don’t realize it, that’s hot. We can blame a lot of things: global warming, forests being turned into construction sites for condominiums, cars, heck even the government but being the humorous Filipinos that we are, we chose to inject a little #relatable hilarity in the situation.
You can do better than this!
We know they’re not mocking us but come on! 23°C is Baguio’s highest temperature these days and we still bring jackets whenever we visit.
