We already have cheaper and more convenient methods of contacting people from anywhere around the world—mobile phones and wireless communication platforms. Soon, businesses will abandon the use of landlines and realize how much money and hassle they’ll save in the process.
The reason this still exists is probably because people still find it hard to navigate using the touchpad. When touch-screen computers and multi-gesture trackpads become the norm, we’ll one day have one less computer accessory to fuss with.
Advancements in technology have also made it possible to perform cashless and cardless transactions with mobile phone applications such as Apple Pay. Payments made on credit won’t have to take so long and be so awkward anymore!
Blame the CD’s eventual demise on music streaming sites like Spotify, Tidal and Apple Music where we can purchase digital albums for cheap. The music industry has also caught on to the fact that they’re earning more revenue from online sales than from physical album sales. It won’t be long until CDs will be seen as collectible goods, just like how vinyl records currently are.
