Welcome the last Friday of the month with the weirdest news we’ve found on the internet! 2020 has been full of surprises, but there’s still no shortage of stories that make us go “WTF”. Just take a look at what we’ve been dealing with and share our pain:
IN TEARS BECAUSE A GIANT RAT MASCOT WAS THE REASON SEWERS IN MEXICO WERE BLOCKED pic.twitter.com/YD94Yu6bxF

Workers in Mexico City were surprised to see a giant rat while cleaning the city’s drainage system. The life-size creature was as tall as a human. The workers were even more surprised to learn that the rat turned out to be a Halloween costume that was washed up by heavy rains.
A Malaysian man discovered this monkey selfie, alongside other monkey pictures and videos on his lost cellphone in the wake of recovering it from the forest behind his home.

A Malaysian woke up to discover that his phone was missing from his bedside. After asking his other family members, they found out that the only thing missing from their house was his phone. After a few days, his father sees a monkey near their house. They decided to call the boy’s cellphone and found it covered in the mud under a palm tree. Best part? After looking through the photos, they discovered multiple selfies and videos taken by the monkey who “stole” the phone.
Police in Vietnam discovered that a factory was selling 345,000 USED condoms. A local station in Vietnam released a video that showed dozens of large bags containing used contraceptives scattered across the floor of the warehouse. A woman that worked at the factory said that the condoms were boiled in water, dried, and reshaped before they were packaged and resold.
We put up with a lot of “quirks” in the name of love, but where do you draw the line? One woman documented her journey of washing her boyfriend’s pillows on Tiktok to show us just how dedicated she was to her man. That might sound normal, but note that her boyfriend hadn’t washed his pillows for ten years. After her boyfriend refused to buy new pillows, the woman took matters in her own hands and washed the dirty pillows while her boyfriend was at work. After scrubbing them in the bathroom, bleaching them, and tossing them in the washing machine, the pillows finally went back to their original color.
My local Morrison’s is selling actual sacks of wet eggs. This is the most wretched and cursed item I have ever witnessed pic.twitter.com/bghKxOUxXu

Apparently, one supermarket in the UK is selling wet eggs. Why? The supermarket said that the reason they were selling these is to avoid waste from their salad bar. Who would want this? Your guess is as good as ours.

This video of a six-month-old waterskiing is making rounds online. As expected, the parents of the baby received flak for allegedly endangering their baby. One thing we all can agree on is that this baby’s got guts.

South Korea just welcomed their first baby panda and recently opened a poll to decide on its name. Though the name hasn’t been finalized, “Pandemic” seems to be a crowd favorite. It’s a timely name, what can we say?
A delivery man in Thailand was seen riding around the city without his clothes on. Footage of the naked deliveryman quickly circulated on the internet, as expected. Reports say that the man had stripped down outside a temple before driving off on his motorbike. Thankfully, he returned later to put his clothes on again. On the same day, he reported himself to the police, who let him go after he paid a fine of Bt500 (about Php 770).
