With the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic and with 140 confirmed cases in the Philippines (as of writing), we’re all on high alert. Metro Manila, as well as other major cities, have implemented a community quarantine, and schools have been canceled to limit the spread of the disease. Many companies have started to make their employees work from home. The transition from an office setting to work from home can be tricky, which is why we made a list of tools for remote teams, or apps for people who work from home.

 

Spark

Spark prioritizes important emails so you’ll see them right away. The app also lets you follow up reminders, and lets you quickly reply to important emails. You don’t have to worry about not being able to read your boss or client’s emails anymore, as Spark’s user-friendly functions will help you out. Slack

Want to easily communicate with your boss and workmates without the need of using email? Slack is basically a chat room for your entire company. The app lets you organize group discussions and also allows you to send private messages to send files and align with your co-workers. Slack is available on The App Store and Google Play.

This app is perfect for task and project management. Trello lets you create and organize boards for easy scheduling and organizing.
