8 Beliefs Perpetually Single People Cling on to

4. My family is more important

Just like 2008 Binibining Pilipinas winner Janina San Miguel, your pamily is the most important persons in your layp. And there’s nothing really wrong about devoting all your time and love to them even if they keep asking you why you still don’t have a boo. Always remember that family should always come first, so don’t feel any fressure rayt now.

3. I can get a bae whenever I want to

I’m just really, really lazy to get out from this blanket cocoon I made for myself.

2. Singlehood is cool

You really don’t mind getting older Netflix and chilling with your cats and favorite bottles of wine. And you definitely don’t mind waking up every morning to a single text message that you can’t even read (“Muxtah n kyoh jan i2 bgong roamng quoh”) and nothing else.

You know that being single doesn’t have to do anything with your happiness or self-worth because no one else will be able to match how cool you are. Plus, you have all the freedom to do anything without someone judging or stopping you.

1. I believe in fate and destiny

Abu is a fangirl by day, and a sleeping fangirl by night. She is mostly seen on Twitter which she considers her first home even though she loathes with all her being its cancel culture (We can all grow and learn guys!). She ranks as the Philippines' number one Modern Family fan in QuizUp. She's a cool girl (she also wrote this write-up).
