You’d think that since everyone is confined to each of their homes, there’d be less social interaction going on. But it’s quite the opposite in fact. With the ease brought by new technology, so many people are reuniting once again — because they all finally have the time — even if it’s just through the screen. If you feel like going on a nostalgia trip, check out some of our favorite virtual reunions during quarantine.
This one feels like it came out of nowhere. But also not? We’ve all been waiting for the comeback of the OG girl group of the country, and maybe they thought, when better than this quarantine period? They aren’t dancing like they used to, but that might be because they’re limited by their web cameras. They’re still serving some amazing vocals though.
Even if we all know it’s just platonic, everyone was super kilig anyway when Bea and John Lloyd reunited through their Instagram live. Even if it was all just part of the “unconfined cinema” project they’re doing with director Antoinette Jadaone, our hearts are still very much full of love watching them just be comfortable with each other.
Wanna make your parents, titos, and titas feel nostalgic? The love teams of variety show That’s Entertainment got together to give their fans a “That’s Quarantainment” performance. Janno Gibbs went live on his Instagram, and he was joined by former costars Manilyn Reynes, Romnick Sarmenta, Sheryl Cruz, Ramon “Monching” Gutierrez, Tina Paner, and Joseph “Keempee” De Leon to sing the classic “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” We hope Kuya Germs is happy watching them from above.

The show turned ten this year. The cast and crew and all the fans wanted a reunion, and there were actual plans. But in the end, because of the pandemic, the cast and crew can only celebrate through the virtual screen. But it seems they still had quite the blast with all those Zoom backgrounds from the Golden Gate bridge to outer space. Relatable.
Hey, Wildcats! What time is it? It’s summertime! But it’s also time to watch the cast of everyone’s favorite high school movie belt it out and sing the anthem of your teenage years for The Disney Family Singalong. But unfortunately, while they’re singing “We’re All In This Together,” they’re not actually all together. Zac Efron only dropped by to introduced the rest of the cast before Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, and everyone else you can think of in the HSM cast — even those who aren’t (hello to Tiktoker Charli D’Amelio, and we’re still not entirely sure why she’s there).
Speaking of musicals . . . Remember 2016 when everyone was just trying to rap like their name was “Alexander Hamilton”? Well, you can relive those days with the original cast of award-winning musical Hamilton! John Krasinki got all of the original cast together — Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Phillipa Soo, Christopher Jackson, Anthony Ramos, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Okieriete Onaodowan, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jonathan Groff, and Javier Muñoz — to sing the musical’s opening number for a young fan who couldn’t watch the play anymore because of the pandemic. All via Zoom, of course. Which makes the rest of us lucky because we get to be included in this treat of a reunion!
John Krasinski recently started his own news program on Youtube called Some Good News — which, by the way, we all need right now — and for his very first guest, he organized a mini The Office reunion in celebration of the show’s fifteenth anniversary. Well, this was technically just Steve Carell and John Krasinski, but it was enough. We missed that show. Maybe time for a rewatch?
After the individual interviews of the other band members in Lance Bass’ podcast The Daily Popcast, Bass revealed that he’s been having weekly get-togethers with Justin Timberlake, Joe Fatone, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick while on quarantine. The internet doesn’t actually have recorded footage, but Bass says they actually go on “happy hours every week together on Zoom.” Having fun and vibing together? We definitely want NSYNC this way.
Which other get-togethers did you love to see? Anyone else you’d want to reunite? Tell us below!
