For better or worse, the WWE’s PG directive has given it a “something for everyone” approach, which means anyone can enjoy certain segments of WWE programming, or failing that, the countless hours of wrestling available on the WWE Network, or any of WWE’s not-really competition both in and out of America.

Yes, wrestling is “fake.” Now, unless you want to tell me how many dragons Emilia Clarke is totally raising in her lawn, then it’s high time we realized most of the entertainment we indulge in has its own level of “fakeness,” too, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

The WWE is coming here in September, and you probably wouldn’t want to watch it if you had no idea who Seth Rollins or AJ Styles are. Now is as great a time as any to get to know them!
But maybe not this way.
