“Who’s your daddy?” What is it with some women calling their sexual partners “daddy?” Some “dads” cringe at the thought of being called such, most likely due to women having paternal issues. Some men think the women are having sexual fantasies with their dads, and that’s an instant boner killer. However, sex therapists say that that isn’t necessarily the case.
In an article by Broadly, sex therapist Vanessa Marin says, “I’ve heard from a fair amount of men who were turned off by it, and were worried that it was an indicator of ‘daddy issues. Yes, ‘daddy’ can mean ‘father,’ but we also use the word to indicate when someone is the boss, in charge, a protector, or doing a good job. That’s usually the meaning women are going for in the bedroom. It’s a bit of a 70s porn cliche. I’ve never run across a woman who called her partner ‘daddy’ because she genuinely liked fantasizing that he was her father.”
So there you go, it’s them respecting you as a masculine manly-man, and not because of incest. Good to know!
Though, there are other reasons she could be calling you daddy, i.e. when you get her pregnant.
In weirdly cute and adorable news, meet Polly, pictured above. She’s a rescue goat being taken care of by Leanne Lauricella of Goats of Anarchy, a sanctuary dedicated to special needs goats. Polly suffers from blindness and anxiety.
Polly’s only calm when she’s wrapped in a blanket, and that’s when Lauricella got a bright idea. She spotted a duck costume while Halloween shopping, and it worked perfect. Since then, she’s been dressing Polly up in a bunch of outfits:
If you would like to help Polly with her cool costumes (and her fellow goat friends), you can donate to Goats of Anarchy here.
Over in Japan, the Space World theme park froze and embedded fish, crabs, and other shellfish into a skating rink as part of their “Freezing Port” attraction. People can skate, glide, and pirouette their way over 5,000 fish over the rink’s frozen ice.
CNN also reports that the park promoted the attraction on their Facebook page with the caption “I am d…d…drowning, s…s…suffocating.”
Unsurprisingly, the park faced immense backlash on social media. Comments included “You have no soul to plan such an event to begin with,” “disrespectful of life,” “It is shocking that this kind of idea was taken up normally in Japan…This is the worst attraction educationally,” and more.
The park has since apologized for the attraction, and has shut down the rink indefinitely. They said that the fish were bought at a fish market and were already dead prior to being frozen.
Space World manager Toshimi Takeda told CNN that the rink has been closed, and that it will be unfrozen to remove the fish. They will then hold a “religious service” and use the fish as fertilizer.
Who knew that skating over dead creatures would be all sorts of fun?
Brazil’s Miss Bumbum contest runner-up Andressa Urach is recognized as one of the country’s hottest women, and a woman known for a great ass. However, a medical procedure gone wrong has left her precious behind rotting.
She was injected with a mix of hydrogel and PMMA as an effort to make herself more curvaceous. The mix started fusing her muscles causing her body to go under septic shock. Now, gauze-filled holes surround her thighs.
Urach’s procedure was not something offered by legitimate plastic surgeons. In fact, the filler she used was banned in Brazil in 2010. Though there were claims of her having her leg amputated and was at one point even a coma, it seems that Miss Urach is recovering slowly. On her Instagram, she posted “God is so wonderful that gave me back my life!”
Kids, learn to love yourself. Work hard, work out, and by all means, NEVER go to the black market for a cosmetic procedure.
