Happy weekend! Can you believe we’ve only got two more weekends left before 2020 finally ends? The last weekend of this year is the long weekend for Christmas celebrations, so if you’re still looking for gifts, these unique, albeit bizarre, gift ideas could be the solution to your dilemma.
“Actually smells like Drake,” says the description of Carby Musk Luxury Scented Candle from Better World Fragrance House, the American rapper’s new company. The candle is described to be “smooth musk[y] fragrance, introspective as in an interpretation of your beautiful self, yet extrovertive as how you would want others to see your bold and brilliant self,” but we’re not sure what that actually means. We just know you’ll need to spend USD 80 (or about PHP 3,900) to make your room “smell” like Drake.
Yes, USD 9,000 or PHP 432,000. And that’s just one of the lower asking prices for the Air Jordan IV Retro “Manila,” a limited edition release in celebration of the opening of Jordan Manila, the first ever standalone Jordan Brand store in Southeast Asia. There are only 150 pairs of this coveted pair of shoes, so sneakerheads all over the world have been bidding and spending as high as USD 600,000 (about PHP 28.9 million). Sana all may pambili.
Last night I discovered “minimalist nativity sets” and I am WEEPING pic.twitter.com/XuRoGq8i1v

Christmas sure is different this year. It’s not just in the way we celebrate with less parties and less people and just a general less. Like less details on the usually elaborate nativity set designs, but in this case, there’s actually barely any details. If someone didn’t tell me that these things were supposed to be nativity sets, I’d just think they’re random pieces of wood, glass, and balls lying around. The minimalist trend is getting out of hand.
GREAT NEWS EVERYONE. ITS ON SALE pic.twitter.com/CGP2p4G2Kn

Except the cut-outs aren’t the usual ones you see. It’s on your chest and back, so you’ll just have big holes showing off your nipples. And it’s worth nearly USD 600, the same price as an iPhone. The description says “Burberry makes a simple statement about love,” but we’re still wondering if it’s because you’ll be showing off your chest which protects your heart inside? Did we get it right, Burberry? Real talk: is this Regina George-inspired?
Kim Kardashian does what she does best, doing ridiculously out-of-this-world things that we absolutely cannot relate to, like wearing a dress with her face printed on it. To be fair, she isn’t selling it (yet). But she did wear it for the promotional shoot of her beauty brand, which somewhat makes sense . . . I think. The first world really is on a whole other plane of reality.
You know how brands approach social media accounts with big followings and engagements to propose x-deals to promote their brands? It usually works, unless you message an award-winning writer who has already passed away and whose social media is actually being managed by her estate.
Did you just… rickroll YouTube

Filipino fans really make some of the funniest contents of their favorite stars. Just look at this montage of Taytay clips overlaid with an audio clip of a Nescafe commercial. Why does it look so real? And on that note, advanced happy birthday, Queen Tay! And happy evermore weekend, Swifties!
