In Bangladesh, a woman has been sentenced to death for slashing her lover’s throat and cutting his heart out. She said her reason was because the man did not want to marry her. That, and the fact that she found video footage of her partner having intercourse with another woman. If the sentencing pushes through, she’ll be the first woman to be hanged in the country.
Marvel better stand back, there’s a new spider-themed superhero in town, and this one’s from Nigeria. Check out the epic trailer above and get ready to sweat from all the action and emotion.
Big question is, what is the movie all about? Based on the trailer, it’s about students on excursion and one of them has a really gnarly scar on her head. Then dudes with guns start shooting at them for some reason and then Spider Girl comes out of nowhere to dish out a really poor CGI brand of justice.

Are those ropes or webs coming out of her hands? Why do they explode? Can she kick Gagamboy’s ass? All these questions will be answered when the movie comes out, and it’s going to be awesome.
