Noche Buena is an integral part of a Filipino Christmas, but not everybody has the time, energy, and/or skill to whip up a celebratory feast. Thank goodness you can always order. Here are eight great places you can order your Noche Buena feasts from — book early so you don’t run out of slots!
Nobody does lechon like the Cebuanos, and thanks to Rico’s Lechon, you can get a taste of Cebu without flying to the island. You can order lechon via the Rico’s Lechon official website (prices start at ₱7,200), but if you think a whole lechon is too much for your family, you can get yourself their frozen ready-to-eat packs. At more affordable prices, why stop at regular lechon when you can get variants like spicy lechon and lechon binagoongan? You can also add their super flavorful lechon baka to your spread!
These food packs are available at leading supermarkets and groceries, but you can also pre-order for pick-up and delivery by contacting the Lechon Fulfillment Center at 0917-814-7648 / (02) 7799-0810
If you’ve only ever ordered Mango Bravo from Conti’s, you’ve got to check out their new Christmas offerings. Take, for instance, their Filipino-inspired Porchetta (₱1,995) — roasted to perfection with lemongrass, citrus juice, and herbs — served alongside their signature Paella Rice.
And for dessert, treat yourself to their new Ube Ensaymada and Dark Chocolate Ensaymada (₱55 each, ₱660 for 12). Soft, fluffy, buttery, with a twist — what more could you want? To order, call (02)8580-8888 or visit their official website.
Is a noche buena spread really a noche buena spread without a glistening hunk of ham in the middle? (No. The answer is no.) Majestic Ham has been serving up quality ham for two decades, living up to their brand’s name. Their whole ham prices range from ₱1,600 to ₱1,750. To place an order, contact them at (02)8995-0320 or visit one of their branches. (Visit their Facebook page to find their nearest branch.)
How do you make ensaymada even more delectable? The Daily Knead makes their ensaymada extra special by topping their buttery brioche base with aged manchego and jamón serrano. Pair it with a hot cup of tsokolate and you’ve got yourself the perfect Christmas snack. You can get a box of six for ₱1,100 via their official website, and make sure to check out the other offerings in their Christmas Collection, which include cakes, pastries, and grazing boxes.
As their name suggests, you can expect big servings and big flavors from Sóbra Comfort Food. Their food trays come at reasonable prices, starting at ₱1,190 for large trays (solo servings start at ₱265). Order via their official website or by sending them a direct message on Facebook.
A roast chicken is always a welcome addition to Noche Buena, and Kenny Rogers Roasters’ new Truffle Roast is perfect for special celebrations. Each roast is infused with the distinct flavor and aroma of truffle and is served wrapped in gold foil — bongga! It comes with buttermilk sauce, and make sure to pair it with their new Spinach Mashed Potato. Get a whole Truffle Roast for ₱735 or ₱1,105 for a Truffle Roast Group Meal by ordering on Foodpanda, calling (02)8555-9000, or visiting their official website.
Noche Buena gives us the perfect excuse to indulge in decadent dishes we’ve been daydreaming about all year, and The Purple Wok can help make your dreams come true. Known for their Angust Roast Beef party trays, but they also serve other dishes like lobster, gambas, salads, and paella. To place an order, contact them on Viber at +63977-217-1887.
You don’t have to travel to a seaside province to dig into a whole bilao of crabs. Dampa Express makes it possible, letting you order Alimango sa Bilao for just ₱1,388 (steamed). If you want different flavors like buttered garlic and salted egg, order a flavored bilao for ₱1,488. You can place an order on Foodpanda or via their official website.
