The standard professional attire does not change with the whims of fashion. Always make sure to keep the colors conservative and avoid wearing clothes that are too flashy. For the ladies, the standard professional workwear is a business suit and smart pants or skirt (particularly for sales).
But for entry-level job seekers (especially if you still don’t own tailored blazers), you can get away with a simple white button-up paired with a sophisticated pencil skirt or suit trousers. Also, shoes should be closed and no higher than three inches.
For the gents, the two-piece suit is still the safest choice. A necktie is required to add a pop of color but remember not to go overboard with prints. If you don’t have a suit, wear dark color slacks (black, navy or dark gray) and pair it with a long sleeve shirt and tie.
Nothing says “boss lady” quite like a suit. Invest time and money in finding something tailored and classic for future reuse.
Keep it easy and sleek with a button-up shirt, pencil skirt and matching pumps.
A well-tailored suit can speak volumes about a man, not to mention the confidence that looking good lends you.
Understated and chic, go for slacks, a long sleeve shirt and pair it with a power tie.
