Here’s more proof that Pinoy talent is truly world-class: P-pop group PLUUS member JL Gaspar is bound to South Korea to join the K-pop reality show Universe League. The new show is the male counterpart of Universe Ticket, which debuted the girl group UNIS with three Pinay members: Gehlee Dangca, Elisia Parmisano, and Jin Hyeon-ju.

He’s a member of P-pop group PLUUS

We know JL’s got what it takes to be in a boy group, because he’s already in one! He’s a member of PLUUS, SBTown’s first boy group that debuted in March 2023. The six-member group also released their first mini-album, PLUUS +. Y.M., during their debut.

Having what it takes to debut as an idol isn’t earned overnight. Prior to debut and being a trainee, JL has already shown his talent by joining his City Dance Troupe (he’s from Muntinlupa), where he honed his skills in different genres of dance.
