8 Workout Programs You Can Start Saving Up for (for Next Year’s Resolutions)

Christmas is still a few weeks away, but the holiday feasting has definitely begun. With food-filled get-togethers everywhere, it’s getting harder and harder to stick to diets and workout programs. As you indulge your holiday appetite in the name of the Christmas season, remember that it’s time to get serious with accomplishing your health goals in 2016.

Help out your future (or just 2016) self, and start saving up for a fun and fulfilling workout program as early as now. Some of the best exercises can be quite pricey, but absolutely worth the investment.

Here are 8 workout programs that will get you the body you’ve always wanted!

8. Membership at a 24-Hour Gym

Via pinoypresyo.com

Leave no room for lame excuses like no time after work or the gym was closed by getting a membership at a 24-hour gym. Yes, such a beautiful thing exists! You can burn your carbs and tone your muscles anytime of the day.

Heads up, night owls! There’s no more need to drag your sleepy butt to the gym on your least favorite parts of the day (aka mornings).

7. Personal Training

If you’re a newbie at going to the gym or even the concept of working out, then hiring a personal trainer is definitely something you have to invest on. Your trainer will make the gym a less intimidating and mind-boggling place. More importantly, you’ll need the guidance and assurance of a trainer to ensure that your exercises are getting you closer to your body goals.

6. Pole Dancing

Erase the thought of pole dancing being only for ladies period or for very, very liberal women. Pole dancing is actually a great workout that men and shy girls should also give a try because of its many health benefits. Not only will it shed off pounds, pole dancing builds and tones muscles, improves flexibility and boosts confidence. You and your bae will love yourself for getting into pole dancing!

5. Yoga

Release all your stress through a workout that’s both relaxing and toning. Yoga can be the perfect de-stresser after work while you harness your flexibility, strengthen your muscles, get some cardio done and build a good metabolism. It also has several variants, which you can all try to find your favorite one. There’s bikram or heated yoga, antigravity yoga where you’re suspended in air through cloth ropes, and many more.

Save now for continuous yoga classes in 2016, and build the right foundation. You can continue being a yogi at home or anywhere once you’ve gotten the hang of it.

4. Boxing

This workout is also a healthy way to let out stress. Mad at someone or frustrated about work? Transform all of that angst into strength and endurance as you complete your boxing workout! You’ll get a good amount of cardio done without getting bored for sure. Plus, most boxing routines include high intensity interval training (or HIIT) before it’s time to use boxing gloves at the ring with a trainer.

3. A Sport

Whether it’s running and joining marathons, playing tennis with a trainer or joining soccer tournaments and practicing with the team, seriously getting into a sport is an awesome workout program. Make sure you pick something that fits your interests, and you won’t get bored as you exercise. You won’t notice the time or the struggle as you sweat bullets and have a really good time.

Start buying the gear that your chosen sport requires and saving up for the necessary fees.

2. Muay Thai

Ease the pain of your heart when you pay for your Muay Thai classes with the thought that not only are you paying for a workout program, you’re also financing your self-defense skills! Have tons of fun looking like a ninja slash karate kid as you burn away the fat and tone your muscles.

1. Indoor Cycling

Indoor Cycling just recently entered the metro’s workout scene, and it has gained a strong following very quickly. Depending on what classes you choose, you can feel like you’re in a party or in a mountain trail as you peddle. A dynamic cycling instructor will guide you all throughout the session and will make sure that you remain motivated. Try it out asap!
