Step Up Your Ipon Game, These Acts Are Gracing Manila this 2023

Jan 3, 2023   •   Ina Louise Manto

After two years of no live shows, we’ve seen the return of concerts, gigs, and music festivals in 2022 and it seems that the incoming year will be in full throttle. This holiday season, get in your iponing gaming to another level because these acts are going to make the Manila crowd crazy in 2023:

Enhypen

When: February 3-5, 2023

Where: SM Mall of Asia Arena

Filipino ENGENEs are in for a treat as K-pop group Enhypen will bring the Manifesto World Tour for three nights in February! The February 4 and 5 dates are already sold out, which prompted the announcement of a third concert day. It seems that the demand is high! The group behind “Polaroid Love” previously had a fan meet on December 3 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Blackpink

When: March 25 and 26, 2023

Where: Philippine Arena

Blackpink in your area! The world’s biggest girl group is returning to the Philippines for two nights for their Born Pink World Tour and it’s going to be in a bigger venue. The girls are performing in the world’s biggest indoor arena, Philippine Arena in Bulacan, with a seating capacity of up to 50,000. It’s going to be history-making shows as they’re the first K-pop girl group to headline in the venue for two nights. Don’t miss out!

Harry Styles

When: March 14, 2023

Where: Philippine Arena

Harry, we’re waiting for you to pull us in. The former One Direction member is returning to Manila for Love On Tour and we’re looking forward to singing our hearts out to his songs from his latest album, Harry’s House such as “As It Was”, “Daylight”, and “Satellite”.

Itzy

When: January 14 and 15, 2023

Where: Mall of Asia Arena

MIDZYs are crazy over their biases as Itzy’s first show for Checkmate tour sold out, prompting an additional show the next day. The Manila stop is the first in the Asia leg of the group’s world tour!

Carly Rae Jepsen

When: March 4 and 5, 2023

Where: Filinvest City Event Grounds, Alabang

Are you ready to cut to the feeling and surrender your heart in March? Carly Rae Jepsen is one of the artists headlining Wanderland: The Comeback. If you haven’t experienced a music festival yet or haven’t gone to one in a while, this is your sign to go for it. The two-day fest will showcase other acts such as co-headliner Phoenix, Sunset Rollercoaster, Men I Trust, and No Rome.

Arctic Monkeys

When: March 6, 2023

Where: Filinvest City Event Grounds, Alabang

After years of dreaming of a show – it’s finally happening. The long-awaited Arctic Monkeys Philippine debut will be held just a day after Wanderland! They will also visit Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan for their Asia tour.

Stray Kids

When: March 11 and 12, 2023

Where: SM Mall of Asia Arena

March is a month for live concerts. Adding to the acts to witness this month is Stray Kids, who’s bringing the MANIAC tour for two nights. The K-pop group was supposed to hold a concert in April 2020.

The 1975

When: May 3 and 4, 2023

Where: Mall of Asia Arena

Are you ready to witness The 1975 at their very best? It’s their nth visit to Manila but the demand seems to be more than ever as they added another date to showcase songs from their latest album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language. The band last visited in September 2019 to support their third album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships.
