When it comes to jokes, no one can top the creative and hilarious minds of Filipinos. We can crack a joke about anything under the sun, even at the expense of our own misery. So it’s not a surprise that business-minded Filipinos used their God-given wit to great use and thought up witty business names that will definitely stick on their consumer’s minds. Have a laugh at some of the few karts and stalls we found.
And meet Jollubot’s official mascot:
Mukhang may pinagdadaanan si Jollibee.
Siomai and SOGO (like a weird version of “Pasko Paksiw”) are shaking. Dahil mahal kita, may Siogo ka pag-uwi.
We’re scared to know what that “ATBP..” sign means. More of what?
The dentist’s office itself will side with you when you tell your mom you don’t want to visit.
From the funny shocked animal logo to a menu that would make you chuckle (Goolat na Goolat Mango Graham Ice Cream Float), you’ll want to order from this stall. And possibly buy a franchise.
You don’t have to have hundreds of thousands to start a business or even be a whiz at it. You just have to have a funny business name, and the staple Pinoy fried chicken and you’re good to go.
Tea Ngeneng (Perl Milk Tea), Wintengeneng (Wintermelon), and Okinawang Ina (Okinawa) are just some of the witty drinks you can order from Nak Nam Fu Cha.
And last but not the least, the new favorite hangout of DDS!
