Kim Seon-Ho’s fame skyrocketed to a whole new level after starring in the hit Netflix Korean drama series Start-Up as Han Ji-Pyeong. To add to his growing filmography and brand deals, Kim Seon-Ho was tapped as the newest global ambassador of the local clothing brand BENCH. You’ve probably seen his gigantic BENCH billboards along Guadalupe, looking dreamy and dashing.
What’s more, it looks like even the 37-year-old star has also seen them, and the internet is collectively losing its mind.
Over the weekend, Kim Seon-Ho held a BENCH-organized fan meeting at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Aside from bonding with the Filipino Seonhohadas, the Hometown Cha-Cha actor shared on Instagram a couple of cute snaps in front of his BENCH billboards along the Guadalupe bridge.
And as if that wasn’t enough to send Filipino fans into cloud nine, Kim Seon-Ho was spotted in Fort Santiago, having the best time under the sun!
This bench, where Kim Seon Ho strike a pose will be a new tourist spot. Located in Plaza Moriones Garden inside Fort Santiago, Manila. 🇵🇭💙 Another reason to visit this place and refresh our memory on PH history!

But perhaps the pinnacle of Seon-ho’s tour was seeing the Pasig River in his selfies. As always, you can’t beat Pinoys when it comes to ~*dog-showing*~ our own. Read what some netizens have to say:
SI SEONHO LANG PALA MAGPAPARAISE NG AWARENESS NG PASIG RIVER CLEANUP pic.twitter.com/O7s7hiCdcf

The old Pasig River can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ’cause it’s now blue.
Amidst the memes and jokes, however, is an ongoing effort to protect and preserve the Pasig River. Ilog Pasiglahin organizer Aly explained there wasn’t any unpleasant smell along the area where Seon-Ho took photos.
Hi! Ako po si Aly, organizer under @ilogpasiglahin for 2 years na!

Aly also encouraged people to join them in calling for a people-centric urban development of the Pasig River.
For many months, various groups are opposing the Pasig River Expressway (PAREX) project due to fear of impacting Pasig River’s ecology and rehabilitation efforts. Moreover, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is still evaluating PAREX’s potential community impact, despite San Miguel Corporation’s (SMC) assurance of making it “a safe, reliable and sustainable infrastructure.”
