Why it’s on our watchlist:
As one of the most highly anticipated Korean dramas this year, Perfect Crown has had us on our tiptoes eagerly waiting for Fridays and Saturdays to see the electric pairing of IU and Byeon Woo-seok.
Set in a reimagined modern-day Korea that operates under a constitutional monarchy, Perfect Crown follows the people’s favorite royal, Grand Prince Lee Ahn (Byeon Wooseok), as he becomes embroiled in a power struggle with other members of the royal family. With pressure on the prince to marry, he strikes up a marriage of convenience with Seong Huiju (played by IU), the heir to a Korean conglomerate, but while the pair will work together to advance their own ends, things don’t go quite as smoothly as planned.
Twenty years after the massive success of the classic K-drama Princess Hours, we get another modern monarchy in Korea, and we just can’t wait to see how the story unfolds — especially that contract marriage between our prince and heiress!

Why it’s on our watchlist:
XO, Kitty is back, and this season comes with an extra dose of excitement because Lana Condor returns to reprise her role as Lara Jean! Her comeback brings the Covey story full circle, adding a nostalgic, heartwarming layer to Kitty’s journey.
With Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) stepping deeper into the chaos of young love, identity, and independence, Season 3 promises the same charm and kilig that made the series so binge-worthy. Set once again in the vibrant backdrop of Seoul, the season follows Kitty as she faces fresh crushes, unexpected reunions, and the fallout of last season’s choices now with big-sister energy guiding her again.
At its core, Season 3 is all about figuring yourself out even when your plans fall apart, your feelings get confusing, and life takes you somewhere new. It’s short, sweet, and packed with the warmth and chaos that put XO, Kitty on our watchlist to begin with.

Why it’s on our watchlist:
Summertime is about to get spooky, with this horror reboot of The Mummy. What would you do after finding your lost daughter but she isn’t just the same anymore?
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy follows the family of a journalist (Jack Reynor) who loses his daughter Katie in the desert. Eight years later, they find her in a 3,000-year-old sarcophagus, possessed by an ancient evil spirit. The family witnesses her transformation into something horrifying, and they try to get as much help as they can to bring her back.
The horror film is brought by the same studio behind the 2025 film Weapons, which I enjoyed a lot. As a fan of horror, possessions, and ancient beings, this film is an easy must-watch for me. Looking forward to it!

Why it’s on our watchlist:
Bloodhounds left viewers breathless with its mix of gritty action, heart, and justice-driven storytelling, and Season 2 promises to raise the stakes even higher.
After the explosive showdown in the first season, Season 2 reunites our favorite duo, Woo Do-hwan as Gun-woo, the big-hearted boxer who fights with purpose, and Lee Sang-yi as Woo-jin, the ride-or-die partner whose charm and grit always shine through. Plus, the excitement doubles with the return on the screen of Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), adding star power, intensity, and a fresh layer of conflict to the new season.
With tighter action, bigger stakes, and the kind of brotherhood-meets-chaos energy that made Season 1 unforgettable, Bloodhounds Season 2 feels like the kind of comeback that’s impossible to skip. It’s the reunion of characters we rooted for and the chaos we’re absolutely ready for.

Why it’s on our watchlist:
Starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, The Drama centers on a couple whose lives are upended when unexpected revelations surface just before their wedding.
In the A24’s signature brand of psychological discomfort, The Drama is not a standard romance film, but more of an exploration of how well a person can truly know another. If you like a movie that lingers in the mind long after the credits roll and challenges your perceptions of truth and memory, this one’s a must-watch.

Why it’s on our watchlist:
If you’re a fan of high-stakes thrillers, this is a must-watch, especially since you’ll see the versatile Park Bo-young take on a new, bold role here. Usually known for her “lovable” roles, in Gold Land, she transforms into Kim Hee-ju, an airport security officer who stumbles upon a massive cache of smuggled gold, forcing upon her the dilemma of choosing between her morality and the life-changing allure of 150 billion won.
Joining Park Bo-young are Kim Sung-cheol as a relentless enforcer and Lee Kwang-soo in a uniquely intense role. Kwang-soo as a villain? Sign us up!
And if that still isn’t enough to convince you, Gold Land is directed by Kim Sung-hoon (Confidential Assignment) AND penned by Hwang Jo-yoon, one of Park Chanwook’s co-writers for the legendary Oldboy. So you’re surely in for a wild, thrilling ride.

Why it’s on our watchlist:
If you’re in the mood for something easy, tense, and a little ridiculous in the best way, a creature feature usually does the trick. Netflix’s Thrash joins the long-running tradition of shark survival thrillers that’s built for quick scares, high tension, and a weekend watch that doesn’t ask for too much thinking, just enough suspense to keep you hooked until the credits roll. It stars Phoebe Dynevor, Whitney Peak, and Djimon Hounsou.
