No matter how horrific or vile a crime is, there’s something unexpectedly captivating with finding the truth and solving the mysteries. That’s probably why true crime has been gaining more and more popularity as of late, which in turn also helped crime fiction and murder mysteries to gain more traction. If you’re looking for some crime films to get your thinking hat on and keep you on the edge of your seat, you should check these out.

 

7 Prisoners (2021)

What is it about? In an attempt to provide a better life for his family, an impoverished 18-year-old accepts a job in a junkyard. But little did he know that he would end up needing to escape the clutches of a human trafficker, while struggling between his moral code and the need to survive.
