The K-pop wonderland is full of amazing, talented artists, from idol groups and bands to soloists. Although it’s always exciting to get new releases, we can’t help but wonder what it would look like to see our favorite artists share one spotlight. It’s happened before (see: SHINee’s Taemin and Red Velvet’s Seulgi in “Heart Stop,” Suzy and EXO’s Baekhyun in “Dream,” etc.), so why can’t we have more of these collabs? This world is full of possibilities, and we’re hoping the universe would just give us what we want!

BTS X BLACKPINK

These two are arguably the biggest K-pop superstars, so seeing them together in one project is guaranteed to break the internet. Imagine Jimin and Jisoo singing together or Lisa and Jungkook showing off their fierce dance moves. Maybe we’ll also get to see a peek into the (alleged) romance between V and Jennie! Listen to the mash-up of their songs above and tell us we’re wrong. 

Jessie X CL

Jessie and CL are both queens in their own right. Even though they have similar styles, music-wise, these fierce ladies can set the stage on fire with their talent and charisma! You can already picture them spitting bars and letting the crowd have the time of their lives.

IU X Rosé (BLACKPINK)

Singer-songwriter IU expressed her desire to collaborate with Rosé back in 2017. The latter responded and said she’d love to make it happen soon. It’s already 2022, but we still haven’t gotten the collab! Both singers possess unique tones, and you can bet they can make fans cry a river with whatever song they’re gonna come up with.

Kim Sejeong X Taeyeon (Girls’ Generation)

In one of her live streams, Sejeong shared her love for Taeyeon. She considers the Girls’ Generation vocalist as one of her role models and even sang a cover of her song “Fine”. With the right pop ballad track, Sejeong and Taeyeon could send their fans on a roller coaster of emotions. 

D.O (EXO) X Taeyang (Bigbang)

Did someone say two artists with great R&B voices? EXO’s D.O and Taeyang from Bigbang would like to have a word. These two artists have distinct yet heartfelt singing styles, so it would be a dream to hear them in one soulful duet. 

Hwasa (Mamamoo) X RM (BTS)

Pair RM’s baritone voice with Hwasa’s sultry tone, and you have the making of an iconic collab. Impeccable artistry? Check! Talent? Undeniable! Confidence? Overflowing with it! Give them a hard-hitting track, and they’ll take care of the rest. 

Hyoyeon (Girls’ Generation) X Momo (TWICE)

Hyoyeon and Momo are considered among the best dancers in the K-pop industry. The two fierce performers have both expressed their desire to dance together on stage. We know it’s gonna be lit because Hyoyeon and Momo always bring it wheneverthey perform. JYP and SM, if you’re listening, this collab is begging for your approval!

TXT X IVE

TXT and IVE continue to make a name for themselves, putting out one catchy song after the other. IVE’s disco K-pop beats paired with TXT’s alternative R&B and pop-punk sound will surely wow fans in more ways than one.
