There’s no greater feeling than seeing your favorite artist or band live. The pandemic caused many cancellations of live events and after more than two years, the events scene is up and kicking again. After pining over your faves and daydreaming of seeing them, get your ipon game started as these acts are bound for Manila this year and in 2023:
After their successful concert just a month before the worldwide lockdown in 2020, Seventeen is returning to Manila for two nights (!!) in October for their Be The Sun World Tour. Carats can catch them live on October 8 and 9 at SM Mall of Asia Arena. Also included in their Asian stops are Jakarta, Bangkok, and Singapore. With eased borders, will you watch them there too? Ticketing details are to be announced.
While we wait for a Red Velvet world tour, you can still catch them live at BE YOU: The World Will Adjust on July 22, 2022, at 7:00 PM at SM Mall of Asia Arena. The well-beloved group is headlining an extraordinary celebration for the People with Special Needs together with local artists BGYO, BINI, and Lady Pipay. Tickets are available via SM Tickets.
Remember when Cha Eun Woo serenaded Pinoy fans with his rendition of Ben&Ben’s Kathang Isip in 2019? If you missed him the first time or his online fanmeet earlier this year, now’s your chance to catch the True Beauty star and ASTRO member live. Get ready to take a trip under the stars on August 10, 2022, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and have the best 10 minutes of your 2022. Ticketing details to be announced.
It seems that True Beauty fans are in for a treat as another lead character from the hit drama is visiting the country as well. You can catch Hwang In Yeop twice this year:
One for the BYS Fun Meet on June 19, 2022, at the New Frontier Theater, with BYS products included in the ticket prices. He’ll be returning to Manila in August for his first Asia Fan Meeting Tour to be held at the New Front Theater as well.
Ticketing details are to be announced.
After six visits to Manila, it seems Pinoy fans still can’t get enough of American pop-rock band LANY, as they return for a five-day concert later this year. They initially had a three-day schedule from November 11-13 and later added two more days. All concerts are to be held at SM Mall of Asia Arena. Other Asian countries included in the tour are Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Check out tickets via SM Tickets.
The Script is bringing their Greatest Hits Tour to Manila on September 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. How can we move on now that tickets have already sold out? While we hope for another day to be added (fingers crossed), you might want to try your luck by looking at resellers online. Check out the official page from time to time as well!
Heads up, The Return of Superman fans! Get ready to feel uber gigil over Bentley and William as they visit the country with their dad for The Hammingtons in Juanderland: Fanmeeting in Manila happening next month, July 17, at the New Frontier Theater. You’ll have a chance for a photo op as well!
Tickets will be on sale on June 18 via Ticketnet.
Following the release of their new album Wild Dreams, Irish boy band Westlife is returning to Manila in February 2023. The initial one-day concert sold out in just two days and due to the demand, they’ve added a new concert date on February 21, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Tickets for the new concert date will be on sale on June 18 via Ticketnet; don’t miss out!
