Digital installations are one of the coolest evolutions of art. It offers a new, interactive way for viewers to appreciate the artwork, whether from great artists of the past or contemporary artists of the present. The Philippines has been fortunate to host several of these art exhibits, from Wisdom of Da Vinci: An Immersive AI Experience to the recently concluded Van Gogh Alive. Now, tickets for these exhibits can get on the pricier side. But for those looking for an affordable alternative that won’t sacrifice the experience, there’s an upcoming FREE digital art installation, and it’s just in Taguig.

Endless Landscape: Digitally Reimagined Korean Art

The Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines (KCCP) invites everyone to check out their latest event exhibition, Endless Landscape: Digitally Reimagined Korean Art. It’s a digital art installation that brings Korean traditional paintings to life. The project celebrates the “75 years of friendship between Korea and the Philippines” and is intended to “bridge both countries through a unique intersection between past and present.”

Endless Landscape is held in partnership with the National Museum of Korea through the Overseas Korean Galleries Support Program.

It will be open to the public from January 19 to June 29, 2024, 9 AM to 4 PM, at 5/F Korean Cultural Center in Taguig City. The best part? It’s free! Guests won’t have to register before enjoying the gallery installations.

Aside from Endless Landscape, the KCCP will also host traditional performances in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. Performances will be held once a month, specifically on January 19, February 9, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 14 at 3;30 PM. They’re also free to the public so go ahead and bring your friends and family for a unique, cultural bonding experience.
