It’s not a prank. Real-life couple and vloggers Jayzam Manabat and Camille Trinidad, known collectively as JaMill, have deleted their YouTube channel.
JaMill is now signing off. Pero Jayzam & camille is ♾

Their page had 12.5 million subscribers. Ranked 9th in the list of the most-followed accounts in the Philippines, their page had amassed 1.3 billion views across a total of 567 videos since they launched their channel in 2017. JaMill were one of the most well-known duos in the Pinoy vlogging world, so this came as a shock.
The couple has had their share of ups and downs since they started their YouTube channel, and more recently, they’ve had more of the latter. In April of this year, Jayzam was involved in an alleged cheating incident involving another girl who he allegedly met in a resort in Nueva Ecija. The couple went on a vlogging hiatus but eventually got back together.
Although she didn’t allude to this past issue, Camille tweeted that the page may have been deleted but their relationship is still infinite.

She also went on to say that they decided to choose their relationship over their channel.
Yes deleted na po ang channel. Di naman natin ma-pplease lahat ng tao na sabihing pa issue lang ito or what. Its about our relationship, mas pinili namin mas maging okay ang relationship namin. I hope na irespeto nalang Thankyou. 🤍

“Gusto naming habambuhay talaga kaming magmamahalan, mga ka-igan,” the couple said in a video posted on Facebook.
After they clarified the reason behind their decision, fans and netizens still couldn’t help but express an outpour of mixed emotions over this move. Let’s see what they have to say.
Did y’all miss the TikTok trends back in 2018-2019??? The non toxic community of influcers and a bunch of YouTubers like Lloyd Cadena the old jamill and many moreeeee💥💥💥

Jamill was one of the social media influencers who started a wave of spontaneous vlogging depicting content creators’ daily lives at their rawest, most unsophisticated, and most random state. We just have to accept that some of our favorite content creators might not want to create content forever. They may have left the platform, but they definitely left a mark on the fans and the next generation of content creators.
Omggg! Jamill deleted their YouTube account. Not a fan, but “sayang”. Hehe. But somehow, I understand them and I think they made a right decision, because it’s for their relationship and happiness. Let’s just respect it. God bless y’all! 🤍❤️

When you think about the 12 million subscribers their channel had, it’s really easy to say that this is “sayang”. But if this move is what would make them happier and more stable as a growing couple, then let them be. It must have been quite a difficult decision, so we gotta give them props for knowing what’s important and sticking to their guns.
Perhaps Jamill deleted their YT account after BIR announced they are running after social media influencers.
In fair during the pandemic mga YT stars lang siguro may malaking income than TV stars.

Some netizens speculated Jamill’s decision to take down the channel could have been influenced by the statement of the Bureau of Internal Revenue to go after social media influencers who are not paying taxes despite having huge income from their content.
Baka nagawa lang ng issue para pag-usapan? 🤔 Mas sikat daw kasi ngayon si Madam Inutz eh hahaha char lang po 🤭😅✌️

Other netizens couldn’t help but think that this may have been a calculated move to get the public’s attention. There have been so many instances celebrity couples pulled off pranks on us that we no longer know which is which. (SEE: Gerald Anderson and Julia shocking us with their break-up prank, and even JaMill themselves pulling a similar prank.) But it’s already been a few days, and it looks like JaMill are serious about this, so it’s safe to assume that this is the real deal.
A true mandirigma will respect, accept and understand their decision.❤️ Kahit naman ako kaya kong bitawan yung fame for the people i love the most. #jamill https://t.co/CPHyEqrCCe

Out of their earnings from YouTube, Jamill was able to build their own house, dubbed as “Ja-Mansion.” Their 12 million subscribers on the platform have certainly helped them achieve the things they want to have in life. All this fame and wealth could make you contented and secured in life but to what extent? They may have everything that an ordinary Filipino person would dream of having. But maybe they’ve realized that taking a step back from content creation will give them the peace and privacy they need in their relationship.
#Jamill delete their acount for their relationship, it’s good as a fan of jamill. Coz napepressure na sila, nasasabihan sila ng “for youtube lang” which is good to them, to avoid toxic and protect their relationship. So Respect Jamill! they want to live happy♥

Some haters have said that their love was “for YouTube lang”, but this move should shut them up. After four years of broadcasting their relationship to the public, it’s about time they enjoy some privacy.
We’re sure that JaMill will look back at their days as YouTube content creators with fondness, as it shaped their relationship and opened a lot of doors for them.
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened❤️

But we gotta give them props for making this gutsy move. Thanks for the memories, JaMill!
Best decision ❤️
