He was scouted while buying sports gear

Back when he was in third-year high school he was scouted by a talent manager while he was shopping. Initially, he was so surprised and even ignored the talent scout. Thankfully, the talent scout pressed on and talked to his mother to make a deal for him to start taking acting lessons.

He likes to eat…a lot

Although he may look very skinny, he likes to eat a lot. How does he stay slim? By playing a lot of sports.

He wanted to be a soccer player

Before he got into acting, he really wanted to be a soccer player. He was part of his school’s soccer team and would even train in different schools. All this changed when he was scouted and became a model.

He loves to follow fashion trends

According to his close friends, Kento is one fashionable man. His friends would often ask him about their outfits and he would give them different fashion guides!

He loves taking pictures of food

He admits that although he’s confident with his looks, he loves taking pictures of food more. He even takes 2-3 pictures of what he’s eating to make sure he gets the best angle.

His “special talent”

He’s pretty skilled with his feet. Kento said that sometimes he gets so lazy while lying in bed that he’s mastered the art of picking things up using his feet.

He can’t grow a beard

Like many other Asians, he can’t grow a beard! So when needed, makeup artists have to attach a fake beard instead.

His ideal type

Although he’s sporty by nature he wants to be with someone who has an eye for everything vintage. He says he prefers girls who are funny and have a great sense of humor. Think you know someone who fits the bill?
