Miss ‘Hospital Playlist’? Here are other Medical K-Dramas You Can Watch On Netflix

This week marks the first week since the finale of Hospital Playlist, and while we all want another season, it looks like there won’t be one. So if you’re still not over the drama, you might want to check out these medical K-dramas available on Netflix:

 

Blood

Dr. Park Ji-sang (Ahn Jae-hyun) works in the best cancer hospital in the country. Specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, he saves a lot of lives. However, he also happens to be a vampire that values human life. His life changes when he meets Yoo Ri-ta (Ku Hye-sun) a famous doctor who went to med school at age 17. Despite her cold aura, he slowly falls in love with her.

Life

Dr. Ye Jin-Woo (Lee Dong-Wook) has always been admired by his patients and colleagues because of his warm personality. He’s always looked up to the director of their hospital Bo-Hoon (Cheon Ho-Jin), which is why he was shattered when he dies unexpectedly. Jin-Woo would soon learn about the dark secrets of the deceased director of their hospital that forever changes his life.

Doctors

Growing up in a tough environment Yoo Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye) had to mature at a young age. She tries to distance herself from people due to her trauma. This changes when she meets Hong Ji-hong (Kim Rae-won) a warm-hearted doctor who inspires Hye-jung to take up medicine. Because of a report of their close relationship, they are forced to part ways only to meet each other again after 13 years.

Doctor Stranger

Famous Doctor Park Cheol (Kim Sang-joong) and his son Park Hoon ( Lee Jong-suk) were sent to North Korea and were denied to go back to South Korea. Park Hoon soon trained to be a doctor just like his father. After a series of unfortunate events, Park Hoon is able to go back to South Korea and work as a doctor. But the terrors of this past soon haunt him and he is reminded of his first love, who he left back in North Korea.

Doctor Prisoner

After being wrongfully accused of medical malpractice, Na Yi-Je (Namkoong Min) is forced to leave his job. He eventually decides to work as the chief doctor inside a prison, where he plans his revenge on the people who betrayed him.

Doctor John

Arrogant and cold Doctor Cha Yo-Han (Ji Sung) has always been misunderstood by others. He’s always been good at his job but doesn’t try to be friendly. Meanwhile, his partner Kang Shi-Young (Lee Se-Young) is a resident of anesthesiology and has always been nice to others. Together, they try to find out the mysterious illnesses of their patients.

Good Doctor

Park Si-on (Joo Won) is a savant — his emotional age is 10 but he also has a genius-level memory and keen spatial skills. As a child, he suffered from a traumatic experience that caused his brother’s life. After Dr. Choi Woo-Seok (Cheon Ho-Jin) learns about Si-on’s amazing abilities, he immediately tries to recruit Si-on to be a doctor at their hospital.

Dr. Romantic

Boo Yong-joo (Han Suk-kyu) is known as one of the greatest doctors at his hospital. Everyone admires him and even calls him the “Hand of God.” One day, he disappears without a trace without telling anyone why. Little do they know, he now lives as Teacher Kim and enjoys life in seclusion.
