We can’t deny the fact that 2020 has been a tough year in many ways. While it’s quite difficult to hope for things to be better again, these highly-anticipated films for 2021 will give you something to look forward to. After all, one of the most favorite forms of escapism this year was through binge-watching movies and shows!

 

A Quiet Place Part II

Following the success of the 2018 film, we’ll see the Abbott family on the screen again as they try to survive in a world where even the smallest sounds could get you killed. In this new movie, they are forced to leave their safe zone and as they fight for their survival, they discover that there are bigger threats than the noise-sensitive creatures.

 

Black Widow

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this one’s for you. Though it was initially set to release in May 2020, the anticipated Black Widow film has been pushed to 2021. Natasha Romanova is given to the KGB at birth where she’s trained to be one of their best operatives. Now, she works as a freelance operative in New York and eventually discovers the secrets of her past.

Starring Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, and Jason Momoa, Dune is the movie based on the 1965 sci-fi novel of the same name. Duke Leto Atreides is now given the task to rule different tribes in the desert planet Arrakis, also known as Dune where “the spice” exists. Knowing it’s a trap from his enemies; Leto still accepts his fate alongside his most trusted advisors and moves to Dune.

On its 25th film in the franchise, James Bond has left the service five years after Ernst Stavro Blofeld was captured. However, it seems that his service would be needed again as a CIA agent approaches him to help in the search of a missing scientist, Valdo Obruchev. In the process of looking for the scientist, Bond faces a villain capable of killing millions. P.S. Billie Eilish sang its theme song!
