You don’t have to leave the city in order to have a long Independence Day Weekend well-spent. There are a number of events happening all around the Metro, but it’s over at Bonifacio Global City where you’ll be treated to a whole line-up of shows and events that celebrate the arts, the sciences, and remarkable Pinoy talent.

Organized by the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc., BGC Loves Local is a two-day event running from June 10 to 11, 2017 that provides a venue for various organizations, groups and individuals to share their talent and creativity to the public. From theater productions and mini concerts to interactive activities and art exhibits, there’s just so much you’d be discouraged to miss!

My Name is Asher Lev by Twin Bill Productions

My Name is Asher Lev follows the journey of the titular character, a young Jewish painter, whose artistic inclinations threatens to destroy his relationship with his family and the community. As a result, Asher Lev must decide between pursuing art and doing the duties expected from him by his faith.

Only We Know by Theater 2108

Only We Know is a series of performances — storytelling, mime, monologues, and a one-act play — by Theater 2108 which all explore the theme of siblinghood.
