For 2017 K-drama fans, one of the cutest couples to have come out of that golden year in K-dramaland is Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-sik in Strong Woman Do Bong-soon. A petite, adorable-looking lady who belies an overpowering and almost-uncontrollable strength paired with a handsome rich CEO absolutely whipped for her? That’s exactly who they played in the 2017 drama, and fans all agree their chemistry was off the charts. Now, they’ve reunited for a cameo in a spin-off series.

Cameo in ‘Strong Girl Gang Nam-soon’

Do Bong-soon and Ahn Min-hyuk, the characters that the Park-Park couple played, ended their series married and heading onto their happily ever after with their twin daughters. And fans have finally gotten a glimpse of that happily ever after.

In the third episode of the spin-off series Strong Girl Gang Nam-soon, Ahn Min-hyuk is seen making a flashy, dramatic entrance at a police station, where Gang Nam-soon is being interviewed for yet another incident. He introduces himself as her husband (her!!! husband!!!), coming onto her defense (not that she needed it). They tag-team both the police officers and the beat-up suspects Bong-soon brought in, just like a well-oiled machine. They seem to have a lot of experience with this kind of situation, because, well, they do apparently.

Once that’s settled, Min-hyuk goes on to dote and compliment his wife as he was wont to do even before marriage. Bong-soon also bumps into a relative (another strong woman living in another district in Seoul), who complimented her for marrying such “a catch.”

Our summary doesn’t do justice to the Park-Park couple’s chemistry, because it’s truly off the charts. Honestly, you have to watch the whole scene to appreciate how good they still look together. It has been six years but they still have the same levels of chemistry — maybe even better.

Which is exactly why fans are clamoring to see Park Bo-young and Park Hyun-sik together onscreen again.

K-drama fans want more

Since the third episode aired last weekend, K-drama fans have been calling for another project starring Park Bo-young and Park Hyun-sik as the main leads. Maybe even an actual sequel of Strong Woman Do Bong-soon featuring their married life? Their cameo was only a little over 3 minutes — we need more please!
