From Korea’s Goyang Stadium to Manila’s Uptown Mall, there’s never a bad seat at any BTS concert—even from 1,629 miles away.
All eyes are on BTS as they continue their ‘ARIRANG’ tour in South Korea. Following a rainy opening night, they returned in true BTS fashion: stronger and more determined than ever, pulling off a massive stadium production with precision. We were able to enjoy the live-viewing experience for the 2nd day of the Goyang shows at the Megaworld Cinemas in Uptown Mall, BGC, and we were blown away.
As artists, BTS are storytellers, and every detail was intentionally designed with easter eggs that are quite easy to miss, unless you know them by heart. From the stage that mirrored their history to the setlist that reflected their growth, there’s so much to anticipate for their upcoming world tour, even when it’s just through the cinema.
Usually, cinema viewers feel like they’re missing out, but the real-time viewing of Goyang D2 proved that sometimes there’s more to the bird’s eye-view.

Their stage was shaped like the BTS logo, a reminder of “home.” The catch? The rotating stage so they could see all of ARMY in attendance. It was a callback to their “Live Trilogy” days when they performed “Born Singer.” It felt like a promise that no matter how big the stadium, the connection between Bangtan and ARMY never fades.

Part 1 felt like a fever dream for “Danger” era enthusiasts as they stepped out in leather and fur, frosted with belts and bling, a nostalgic nod to their Dark and Wild days. This was not the teenage angst that we remember, though; this was a Bangtan ready for more mature roles. It was rebellious yet polished, and they carried an air of confidence only legends can pull off.
The styling shifted to a younger, more modern, but less couture vibe, which felt like a love letter to the beloved Most Beautiful Moment in Life (HYYH) era. Their looks that were reminiscent of “I NEED U” and “RUN” hit differently in 2026.

More than a costume, it was a statement of their evolution, proving that ARIRANG isn’t just a new chapter, but a continuation of a story they started a decade ago.
They opened the concert with an homage to their musical influences. Starting with “Hooligan” and “Run BTS” set a high-energy, defiant tone.

The use of V for Vendetta posters during RM’s verse in “they don’t know about us” was a striking easter egg. While it perfectly captured the dark trap genre, it’s symbolic of their underdog story, fighting for their place in the industry.
This was a turning point of the night. When they started the set with “2.0,” everything clicked. The flow was a masterclass in storytelling: ARIRANG tracks like “NORMAL,” “FYA”, and “Body to Body” were sandwiched between 2026 remixes of their hits like “MIC DROP” and “Fire”—songs that marked their name on the global scene.

The set closed with a new stadium version of “IDOL,” the one that introduced more of their traditional culture to the world through hanboks and by incorporating the sound of the traditional drum (Dunggi-deok kung-deorereu) in the lyrics. It was, indeed, a full-circle moment (and we’re still geeking over it!).

The transition between sets 2 and 3 usually belongs to VCRs, but the ARMYs in Goyang (and, honestly, even us in Uptown Mall) filled it with “Young Forever” and “Spring Day,” highlighting the fandom’s unwavering love and support for the boys. The stadium and our cinema lighting up with BTS’s signature purple color was a moment of pride for ARMYs.
BTS is at their best with their raw, unfiltered antics. The Bangtan Karaoke was a cute, fun surprise (especially when they “forgot” the choreo for “DNA”).

The parade, where they went down the stage to “bond” with ARMY, was the icing on the cake. When they performed “Come Over” (the hidden vinyl track in ARIRANG) followed by “Take Two,” it felt like a genuine conversation between Bangtan and ARMY.
During their ending-ment, RM and Jungkook offered a deep bow, a poignant message of “thank you for waiting.”

RM’s closing words were a sincere call that we’re in it for the long haul with them: “But the important thing hasn’t changed. The important thing is that the seven of us all have decided to do this, together.”
Performing “Into the Sun” as a finale was the perfect curtain call, reflective of the promise shared between BTS and ARMY.
At the end of the day, this wasn’t just a homecoming. More than a stadium spectacle, BTS proved that they aren’t just global idols, they are unapologetically South Korean artists who have built their own stage from the ground up.
Whether you’re at a barricade in Goyang or at a comfy seat at Megaworld Cinemas, one thing is clear: this is not simply a comeback; BTS is exactly where they’re supposed to be.
Missed the Goyang show? You can still catch the BTS World Tour Arirang LIVE from Tokyo on Saturday, April 18 and relive the experience all over again. Because once is never enough!
