To people who have their names written backward on social media: Are you aiming for a specific aesthetic or perhaps making yourselves unsearchable for whatever reason?

Wearing leather coats or jackets in the summer heat

Hats off to some Pinoys who wear thick jackets or blazers in a country like the Philippines, which is hot all year round but turns into a giant oven during summer. They deserve a gold medal for their bravery! But who could blame them? Beauty is pain, and we sometimes need to up the ante to look our best.

Irresponsible drinkers

There’s nothing wrong with drinking the night away as long as you’re of age. We love that for you! But you shouldn’t be anywhere near liquor if you can’t handle your drink. Aside from becoming a colossal inconvenience for everyone else, too much booze is a setup for a piercing hangover and cringe-worthy lasing moments.

Puro phone

Picture this: You’re looking forward to spending quality time with a loved one, but you end up with someone whose eyes are glued to their phone the whole time. What’s more annoying is they don’t care at all! Here’s a tip: If you’re that attached to your phone, chain it to your hands and don’t bother going out with anyone. That way, you won’t waste anybody’s precious time.

Parents with no self-awareness

Parenting sure has its challenges, right? You don’t know when your kid’s gonna burst into a tantrum. Kids running wild is a parental rite of passage, but parents must know how to rein in the chaos. If not, they deserve a slap on the wrist as much as their kids.

Slow walkers

We can’t pinpoint if it’s Earth’s gravity to blame, but some people walk like astronauts in outer space. Time is running slower for them than for us. If you’re a slow walker, please think of the rest of the population who are actually concerned about getting to their destination on time and stay on the side of walkways.

Eating noisily

You’d think some people would’ve learned by now that chatting with a full mouth is a big no-no. But, surprise, surprise! They manage to make it worse by adding loud noises while munching. If you know people desperately needing a table etiquette refresher, now’s the time to drop them a subtle hint. 

Coughing without covering their mouth

Some people seem to have forgotten everything the pandemic taught us and still cough without covering their mouths, even when others are close by. How hard is it to cover your mouth when coughing or even wear a face mask?
