We’re down to the last few months of the year, and you know what time it is – it’s time to select the year’s planner or notebook for your bullet journal and stock up on stationery essentials like washi tapes and stickers. Fortunately, you don’t have to source them online anymore; StickerCon and Stories for Sepi are organizing the country’s first-ever PLANNERCON. Here’s everything you need to know about it:
Mark your calendar and set your budget – the country’s first PLANNERCON is happening on November 18, 2023, at Whitespace Manila, Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City. It’s the perfect gathering to meet fellow planner and journal enthusiasts and to snag the cutest stationery made by local artists. Booths will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM, so you’ll have ample time to look around and hoard these cute goodies.
Aside from various merchants, there will also be a variety of food concessionaries to keep you full as you shop. There’s no need to leave the venue anymore for your snacks.
Check out some of this year’s exhibitors:
There’s no need to fly to Korea or Japan to get your hands on cute stationery items as Interlude Shop’s got you covered. They started as a stationery store in 2018 and eventually became a group order manager for BTS and anime goods.
Here’s to fans of anything vintage. Brownpaperkit is your one-stop shop for unique vintage-inspired stationery such as stickers, tickets, embossed papers, doilies, and ephemeras. Their ephemera collection’s designs are all original, so trust that you won’t find them elsewhere. They also make the perfect decor for scrapbooking.
Challenges in life are inevitable, but Coseti & Bonk’s “1 Happy Thing a Day” journals are the perfect reminder of small moments and things to be grateful for. Learn and practice gratitude with this pocket-sized journal, and be reminded that there are things worth living for. Plus, it’s going to be less overwhelming to finish the entire notebook since you only need a phrase or a sentence, and you’re good to go.
One fun way to decorate your planner or journal is through stamps. Sure, there are stamps with various prints you can easily purchase online, but there’s nothing quite like a customized rubber stamp. Marz Today specializes in wood-mounted stamps; from logos to images, you can have them customized. They also sell a stamp-making kit, if you want to try your hands and make it a hobby.
Marydoodledo’s intricate journal-making process is a testament that good things take time. They sell beautifully made custom notebooks from scratch – from poking holes and sewing them to designing embroidered covers. Each notebook is handmade, making the notebook even more special. They make the perfect gifts too!
Guided journals, washi tapes, prints, sticker sheets, prints, and stamps – Sunny Stoic Studio’s nature-inspired stationery will make anyone’s day brighter. If you love collecting stamps, they also offer a stamping station in their booth; so, don’t forget to bring your notebook.
Aside from setting your budget for the new stationery, prepare a P100 entrance fee to enter PlannerCon 2023. Tickets are usually sold at the entrance of the venue.
