While it’s true across the board that blabbermouths are everywhere, guys do not have that much stake in gossips. This is most especially true with gossips involving your girlfriends (admit it, we talk behind each other’s backs). So, a guy is your perfect bet when looking for someone to share your most guarded secrets with.

Guys don’t look at us and secretly rank our outfits in their heads. Nor would they run a list of stores in their heads where you possibly bought that blouse. With him you can just be loose without worrying about being judged.

Sometimes we just want to let our hair down and just have fun without having some guy want to pick us up. During these occasions, a guy BFF is what you need. Nothing can act as effectively a deterrent as you being seen in a guy’s arm.

Yes, it may be cruel having a guy on a leash, as a “break glass in case of an emergency.” But do know that certain romantic relationships started with this. Also know that this relationship comes with a “consume by date” expiration. Platonic relationships are rare. When you’ve reached this stage, it will be up to you if you want to move on to the next stage, or end it altogether.
