A few days ago, Pia Wurtzbach made headlines after Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez said a few shady things about her during an interview. This week, the Miss Universe 2015 winner is once again the talk of the town but this time, her family is involved.
Sarah Wurtzbach, went on a tirade via Instagram Stories yesterday, October 11, to call out her older sister Pia and their mother, Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall for a number of offenses against her. The virtual rant has got everyone snooping into the lives of the trio and wanting to know more. Since yesterday, screenshots of Sarah’s IG stories have been shared on Facebook and Twitter. What is the reason behind Sarah’s anger?
Back in early July, Pia flew to the United Kingdom to spend quarantine with her family. She got to reunite with Sarah’s and Cheryl’s family which are both based in London. On July 24, Pia took to Instagram to thank Sarah for bringing her groceries during the beauty queen’s mandatory 14-day self-isolation. She also expressed how much she missed bonding with Sarah’s kids, Lara and Logan.
While in the UK, Pia and her boyfriend, Jeremy Jauncey, bonded with her family. The couple even visited Cheryl and her British husband at their house as seen in Cheryl’s vlog. Last September 27, Pia also shared via Instagram how Sarah gave her a surprise birthday set up. The sisters looked sweet and cozy posting for a photo captioned “As special appreciation post for my sister @sarahwurtzbach who made this surprise birthday set up. Made with love.”
“Kung alam lang ng ibang tao kung gaano kabaho ugali nyo ni mama, di porket nananahimik ako ako yung masama,” Sarah wrote.
Her Instagram account is now set to private.
“I’m broke kasi I have a normal job [with] 2 kids. Tapos kapag bibigyan mo ako ng pera hihirit ka ng ‘[Grabe] noon sweldo ko ng isang buwan [‘to ‘no, tapos] ngayon barya [na lang],’” Sarah wrote. “And insensitive mo sa mga ganyan kasi ‘you made it’ na.”
She also brought up how her mom and Pia wanted her to leave her partner, Charlie Manze, because he had no money. “Tapos laging idadamay si Charlie. WALA NAMAN [SIYA] SA USAPAN. Gusto ‘nyo iwan ko kasi walang pera? See? Pera pera pera.”
The last message from the screenshot also read “Consider us finished as sisters.”
Towards the end of her IG stories, Sarah said “I told you I was serious when I threatened you. I’m your sister but I’ll be your worst enemy, no problem.”
“Ako din ang pumoprotect sa feelings mo pero ako hindi mo madamayan. Magisisnungaling ka pa,” she wrote.
How long the feud has been going on is unclear since, as of writing, Pia hasn’t responded to any news outlets or made a post of her own.
Sarah Wurtzbach is a perfect example of people are seeking attention to social media for attention and validating their feeling. Please stop this. Resolve your problems in private. Don’t be a noisy dog.

Since the news of Sarah’s rant spread online, many people virtually wrinkled their nose in distaste and branded the outburst as posting on “social media for attention and validating her feelings.” Some commented that Sarah should not have aired her family’s dirty laundry and instead kept the matter private.
Grabe ano yan? I don’t understand, why many people make public about issues of their personal lives. Whatever happened to privacy these days?

This feud between the Wurtzbach sisters seems to be just another “tea” in everyone’s timeline.
plenty of people are treating sarah wurtzbach’s outburst as tea, dragging her down and silencing her because she spoke up about her feelings and ruining her sister’s image, when all she wants is to open up and end her silence. we don’t even know the full story–

Pia’s image as a celebrity might automatically make everyone “take her side.” Yes, celebrities might be “visible” to the general public but this issue just goes to show we know nothing about what’s happening behind closed doors.
This rant has Sarah branded by the interned as an “attention seeker” and labeled “crazy.” But an expletive-laced rant like that does not usually happen overnight. Her anger seems to have been mounting for quite some time and she could’ve finally burst for a reason. We would do well to avoid treating the entire issue as a “Sarah vs. Pia” debate and instead hope the Wurtzbach sisters resolve the matter privately.
