Meanwhile, Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is set to helm a film following the events of The Rise of Skywalker, featuring Daisy Ridley reprising her role as Rey as she seeks to build a new Jedi Order. Obaid-Chinoy brings a unique vision to the project, promising an exciting and thought-provoking addition to the Star Wars canon.
