The murder of George Floyd has sparked outrage not only in America but also around the world. Thousands are protesting out on the streets despite the threat of the pandemic and violent measures taken by the police (rubber guns, tear gas, maces, and everything in between). You might be wondering: how can I help towards the #BlackLivesMatter movement even from home?
Aside from sharing awareness on social media, there are plenty of resources you can browse containing lists of donation drives and petitions to sign. And even if you can’t donate directly to these drives, you can still support the movement through streaming videos. The next time you want to watch new content, include these videos on your list as these YouTubers are donating their video revenues to support the movement. Remember: don’t skip the ads.
