Taylor Swift in Singapore: How to Get Tickets and Other Tips for The Great (Ticketing) War

Jul 6, 2023   •   Meryl Medel

Swifties, tomorrow is the day! Ticket selling for Taylor Swift’s six shows in Singapore is going on sale tomorrow. The General On-Sale will be a bloodbath, just like the UOB Presale was (there were over 1.3 million people in queue!), so we’ve compiled the important information and ticketing tips you might need here.

Important dates to remember

UOB Cardmember Presale
  • Wednesday, 5 July 2023 at 12 pm (SGT/PHT) to Friday, 7 July at 9 am (SGT/PHT)
  • Even if it’s still ongoing, things were pretty much over within the first few hours so… Let’s just move on to the General On-sale.
General On-Sale
  • Friday 7 July 2023 at 12 pm (SGT/PHT)
  • Link: Ticketmaster Singapore
Concert proper
  • Saturday, 2 March 2024
  • Sunday, 3 March 2024
  • Monday, 4 March 2024
  • Thursday, 7 March 2024
  • Friday, 8 March 2024
  • Saturday, 9 March 2024
  • Where: National Stadium, Singapore

Ticket prices

Ticket prices range from S$108 to S$348, excluding booking fee, which ranges between S$6 to S$20, depending on the ticket tier. All VIP packages are spread out across all tiers and come with merchandise.

  • VIP 1 — SGD 1,228 + SGD 20 booking fee = SGD 1,248
  • VIP 2 — SGD 728 + SGD 20 booking fee = SGD 748
  • VIP 3 — SGD 628 + SGD 20 booking fee = SGD 648
  • VIP 4 — SGD 528 + SGD 20 booking fee = SGD 548
  • VIP 5 — SGD 428 + SGD 10 booking fee = SGD 438
  • VIP 6 — SGD 328 + SGD 10 booking fee = SGD 338
  • CAT 1 — SGD 348 + SGD 10 booking fee = SGD 358
  • CAT 2 — SGD 328 + SGD 10 booking fee = SGD 338
  • CAT 3 — SGD 288 + SGD 6 booking fee = SGD 294
  • CAT 4 — SGD 248 + SGD 6 booking fee = SGD 254
  • CAT 5 — SGD 168 + SGD 6 booking fee = SGD 174
  • CAT 6 — SGD 108 + SGD 6 booking fee = SGD 114

Ticket delivery method

On top of the booking fee, there is also an additional fee depending on the method you want to receive your tickets:

  • Print-At-Home — this is free! Two weeks before the show, you’ll be able to download your e-ticket from the Ticketmaster Singapore website. You can print it out or save it as a PDF on your phone.
  • Mail — SGD 2 per order, but only available to Singapore addresses. You’ll get a physical ticket that you can frame as keepsake.
  • Courier — SGD 15 per order, but also only available to Singapore addresses. Same with the Mail option, just faster.
  • Venue Collection — SGD 5 per order. You will need to pick up your physical tickets from the venue ticket box office on the event day. For some events (e.g. Blackpink in May, SUGA in June), Ticketmaster opens Venue Collection a few days earlier than event days. They might do the same for The Eras Tour, so if you’re in SG earlier, you can also head to the box office to get your tickets.

If you choose Print-At-Home then later decide that you want the physical ticket as a keepsake, you can email Ticketmaster Singapore to change your order to Venue Collection. However, you should note that the request to change to Venue Collection will apply to your whole order and you will need to pay SGD 5 per ticket (not per order).

Reminders before ticketing day

  • Make sure you have an access code. If you were one of the blessed, you should have received an email like the one below. Follow the instructions in the email you received and don’t share your access code with anyone! You only have one chance to secure a maximum of 4 tickets, so don’t lose it.

  • Familiarize yourself with the website and process. Here’s a quick run-through from when we got tickets for SUGA’s concert in Singapore last April:

  • Read the Terms and Conditions, too! All the fine print. It’s all on the website.
  • Know your preferred category and budget. Have a list of which ticket tier you want and which sections, so you’re not panicking when you’re inside already. Study the ticket prices carefully (which we’ve already listed above for you!).
  • Join online communities to help each other out. For example, the Eras Tour Help Group Philippines on Facebook has a lot of questions asked and answered already, so you just need to search up keywords for any questions you have!
  • Prepare your payment methods. Only credit cards, Alipay, Apple Pay, UnionPay, and WeChat Pay are accepted on Ticketmaster SG, so Filipino Swifties can only use credit cards. They accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB cards, so make sure your card is open for online and international transactions. Some Swifties have tried paying with debit cards, and they apparently work — just make sure that you have enough balance! And prepare for any possible hiccups.

Reminders for ticketing day

  • Wake up on time.
  • Make sure your internet connections have no issues!
  • Log in to Ticketmaster early! Some say it doesn’t matter what time you enter because the queue numbers are random. But that wouldn’t be the case for this concert. During the UOB Presale, fans weren’t able to log in an hour before the ticket selling starts, so it’s best to log in hours ahead.
  • Go to the website before 12 pm and enter the queue. Remember that your queue number really won’t move (it’s not like SM Tickets!). Only the little walking man will be moving, so keep an eye on him!
  • Normally, people would use several devices to have more chances. But in this case, organizer AEG Presents Asia discourages using multiple devices since it might result in an error.
  • Ready your unique access code and follow the instructions in the email.
  • Ready your payment details on a notepad file, so you only have to copy and paste when it’s your turn.
  • Most importantly. BE PATIENT AND BREATHE. As Taylor sings, you need to calm down, so you know, you can get tickets to her show.

No access code?

Don’t cry yet!

If you didn’t get an access code, you might be on the waitlist. You should have an email that looks like the one below. If you’re waitlisted, you can still get an opportunity to get tickets at a later date. If you’re chosen, you’ll get a link and an access code to purchase your tickets.

If you didn’t get any emails, you can try the Klook packages, which will also go live on the Klook app on the same date and time as the General On-Sale. Expect higher prices, as tickets from Klook are bundled with hotels or experiences. In Sydney and Melbourne, such bundles range from PHP 35,000 to 111,000.Taylor Swift in Singapore

If you really got nothing, you can start crying. And then check your budget if you can afford to go to her other stops. Then maybe cry again and beg @taylorswift13 to add more stops in Asia. Please . . .

Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m… pic.twitter.com/kl1aijxR2o
