Launched in 2014, The Sims 4: Base Game was met with mixed reviews due to its lack of features in comparison to its predecessor, The Sims 3. However, the game has since gained over 31 million players worldwide. How? With the help of expansion packs.

After EA released the game in 2014, developer Maxis followed up with a number of expansion packs to the game in order to add new exciting elements with different themes. You can achieve your Hollywood fame dreams, or spend your life on a remote island, or even live in an alternate supernatural universe where you can be a vampire or a werewolf.
There have been 12 Expansion Packs since the game’s release, and the latest one, High School Years, was released just last July.
Unfortunately, should you want to play these Expansion Packs, you would need to purchase them separately from the free Base Game.
More players! More stories! More ways to chaos! ✨
