It’s finally our favorite day of the week: Friday! What are your plans this weekend? As we begin the weekend and wait for the upcoming sweldo day (and make up for the 9.9 sales loss), check out this week’s dose of all things weird:

Add this to the list of Americans ruining (??) dishes with their spin-offs. Definitely not your Tita’s Friday night essential: wine, fruits, nuts, cheeses, and cured meats. This is a treat that would make children go wild and run for hours from the sugar rush – but it was made for an adult.
Is this some new social distancing policy for taxis?

Is this the new normal in riding taxis or it’s just another case of 1-2-3? Kuya must’ve had a good grip for being able to hold that long. Spider-Man is shaking!

Pets can be one of the most savage beings out there. Crying over that perfect bowl of ramen.

Imagine wanting a mirror selfie with your friends but end up zooming too close and voila! A surprise awaits behind the mirror. These guys inside are actually light show operators for a park; they weren’t there to watch people and do something sketchy inside. But always be vigilant about mirrors in public places, especially in bathrooms and dressing rooms – you’ll never know if someone’s watching on the other side.
Summer isn’t over until we SAY it is ☀️And this buttery corn and shrimp is summer on a plate! Get the recipe: https://t.co/9wUp5K6jzN pic.twitter.com/4kFNFWN6JS

Inspired by seafood boil, this is supposed to be a summer dish. But when they said it’s going to be buttery, we didn’t expect to have 5 sticks of it. Combine that with the hot weather, the only thing you’ll get this summer is a heart attack. Who eats that much butter anyway?!
After netizen Ken Arceo posted this video of a lost kid (as in baby goat) getting reunited with its momma, the internet’s collective heart melted. Not exactly weird news, but he did name the goat “Shawarma” — an excellent, albeit morbid, choice.
Just looked outside my window here in California wtf pic.twitter.com/VAdsdbjbyr

The fact that you don’t have to choose a Warner Bros movie to see this rust-tinted photo is unsettling. All you have to do is look outside, especially if you live in California. People from California have been waking up to orange and red-tinted skies this week, all caused by worsening wildfires across the state. Wake up people, climate change is real.

On things you probably never thought of: what would Four Sisters and a Wedding’s Toti Mari look like doing the WAP challenge? This isn’t obviously Toti Mari but a look-alike. She looks so extra giving that CPR!
