LANY first came to the Philippines to perform at Wanderland in March and based on how much love they got from their Filipino fans (because obviously, we’re the best fans in the world), they came back to perform in a bunch of Ayala malls the following August, and they showed us what a good time really means. Their lead singer Paul even broke it down with kilig-worthy moves. Lucky for us, we don’t have to wait long to see more of those.
Wow. We still have no words when we think back to what an amazing time Phoenix showed us. It was an energy-filled performance by the band, which had everybody dancing, jumping, and singing along to their every word — which of course made them really happy. In exchange, we got an exclusive performance of Fior Di Latte which they hadn’t performed live before. As a treat at the end of the show, we even got their lead singer, Thomas Mars attempting to crowd surf.
In The Mix brought us a combination of well-known artists like 5 Seconds of Summer, Two Door Cinema Club, DNCE and Zara Larsson, and artists that we had no idea would blow up like Daya, Dua Lipa. They were so full of life and energy, and all the performers gave us something unique to remember each of them by. Just like lots of other things, In the Mix keeps getting better through the years. We can’t wait to see what the lineup will be like for 2018.
Oh Wonder Live was one of those concerts that even though you went into the concert just knowing two or three of their most popular songs, you came out with an LSS of pretty much every single one of their songs. Trust us — every single song that they sang ended up in our most played on Spotify for this year.
