Fans of UAAP had a jam-packed weekend thanks to the yearly Cheerdance Competition and the finals game between rivals Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University, with the former winning after a five-year drought.
This year’s cheerdance competition saw the return of UP Pep Squad after a year of absence. Current titleholders NU Pep Squad was overthrown by the Adamson Pep Squad, who won their first cheerdance title.
While it was Adamson who won the whole thing, let’s not forget these guys that won over cheering fans.

This amateur cheering squad deserves a spot on next year’s CDC because of their dedication in doing their stunts. Come “hang” (get it?) with them and see their potential.
The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe might’ve lost this year, but they still have their insanely hot coach with them, which technically makes them a winner.

Thank god for @graceramirez_ for calling out such an unforgivable error. I mean, it’s singing in our heads right now.

After a year of absence, the UP Pep Squad returned this year with a bang. Though they only placed 6th, the UP Pep Squad was still gracious in defeat, even celebrating Adamson’s historical win.
