Underrated K-Dramas You Should Watch ASAP

Whether you’ve jumped on the K-drama bandwagon very recently or have been a long-time fanatic, you’re probably now looking for new K-dramas to binge-watch after Hotel Del Luna, Crash Landing On You, and Kingdom. Thankfully, there’s plenty more where those gems came from. To feed your K-Drama addiction, here are some underrated K-Dramas that are worth watching.

Devilish Joy

Doctor Gong Ma-seong (Choi Jin-hyuck) has a unique disorder called Cinderella Memory Disorder, which causes him to forget his memories at midnight. When he meets Ju Gi-ppeum (Song Ha-yoon), a washed-up actress, his life changes. Will his condition hinder their love? Well, you’ll have to watch this drama to find out.

 

Familiar Wife

 

Cha Joo-hyuk ( Ji Sung) and  Seo Woo-jin (Han Ji-min) have been married for five years, but because of their busy schedules, they have a hard time balancing work and married life. One day, a strange incident causes Joo-hyuk to discover that he can change his present life by traveling to the past and making different choices. He decides to return to the day he met his wife, and chooses to ignore her instead, changing the trajectory of their lives.

 

My Strange Hero

Kang Bok-soo ( Yoo- Seung-ho) is Seolsong High’s most popular student. He’s girlfriend Son Soo-jung (Jo Bo-ah) is the school’s smartest student. When Bok-soo gets expelled doing something he didn’t really do, he becomes bitter and plans his revenge.

 

Cinderella and the Four Knights

When Eun Ha Won (Park So-dam) loses her mother in a tragic accident, she is forced to move in with her evil step-mother. Her life changes when she helps an old man that lets her move into his gorgeous mansion. There she meets three gorgeous men who are heirs to their family’s fortune.

 

 

The Beauty Inside

Han Se-gye (Seo Hyun-ji) is an A-list actress that’s surrounded by many rumors regarding her mysterious personality. She suffers from an unusual phenomenon that causes her appearance to change to a different person once a month. When she meets Seo Do-jae (Lee Min-ki), an airline director who suffers from prosopagnosia (face blindness). They fall in love in the midst of the complications that surround them.

Woo Seo-ri  (Shin Hye-sun) is an aspiring violinist who gets into an accident that causes her to be in a coma for thirteen years. She wakes up and realizes that she’s already thirty years old. As she struggles to keep up with the present, she meets set designer Gong Woo-jin (Yang Se-jong). The two eventually bond and start to fall in love with each other.

 

Where Stars Land

Lee Soo-yeon( Lee Je-hoon) is a graduate of a prestigious aviation university. However, his dreams of becoming a pilot are dashed when he gets into an accident. He eventually ends up working at Incheon international airport as a member of the passenger services team.  Meanwhile, Han Yeo-reum (Chae Soo-bin) aims to be a perfectionist but fails because of her clumsy personality. She also starts working at Incheon international airport where she meets Soo-yeon.

 

Andante

City boy Lee Shi-kyung (Kim Jongin) is anti-social and prefers to play computer games, but ends up moving to the province with his family. There he is forced to get used to a simpler way of living and eventually discovers a real-life ecosystem.
