Attention K-Pop Junkies! Here Are Some Underrated K-Pop Groups You Should Stan

There was once a time when being a K-pop fan was a very niche thing. But now that BTS, EXO, BlackPink, etc. are making waves internationally, K-pop stans are everywhere. However, there are still more groups who don’t get the recognition they deserve. So if you’re looking for more K-Pop acts to stan, you may want to check out these underrated K-pop groups out.
K.A.R.D
K.A.R.D is a co-ed group that consists of members J.Seph, B.M, Somin, Jiwoo. They debuted on July 19, 2017 with the song “Oh NaNa” and have since released four mini-albums. To this day, the group has yet to win at any music show but their unique concepts will definitely make you want to stan them.

NOIR
NOIR is a nine-member group made up of members Seunghoon, Yeonkuk, Junyong, Yunsung, Siheon, Hoyeon, Siha, Minhyuk, and Daewon. They debuted on April 9, 2018 and have released four mini-albums, each with different concepts that will make you listen to them on loop for days. With amazingly talented members, who wouldn’t want to stan this group?

The Rose
Jihun, Seoham, Dongwon, Inseong, and Heejun make up the four-member group Rose. They debuted on August 3, 2017, and make beautiful and meaningful music that everyone can relate to. Their fanbase may not be big, but they’re very talented! If you’re looking for relaxing tunes, they’re definitely worth checking out.

KNK
KNK is a five-member group that consists of members Jihun, Seoham, Dongwon, Inseong, and Heejun. They debuted on February 29, 2016 and have gone through a lot of changes since then, such as a member leaving due to mental health issues and the band leaving their original company. Through all this, the group managed to stay together and are still active today.

The Boyz
The Boyz is an eleven-member group that consists of members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Juhaknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric. They debuted on December 6, 2017 and got their first-ever music show win in 2019. The Boyz also managed to place first at the Mnet reality show Road To Kingdom. The Boyz’s different music styles and amazing choreography are just some of the reasons why they’re definitely worth stanning.

Golden Child
Golden Child debuted on August 28, 2017, and have been releasing catchy, danceable songs since then. A 10-member group, Golden Child is made up of members Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, Tag, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, and Bomin. They have amazing choreography! Each member doesn’t miss a beat while they dance and sing on stage. So if you’re looking to stan a group with lots of members, you should check Golden Child out!

Astro
K-Drama fans may be familiar with Cha Eunwoo, as he has starred in some notable K-dramas (e.g. My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung). But they might not know that he is part of Astro, a six-member group that also includes members JinJin, Mj, Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky, and Sanha. They debuted February 23, 2016 and received their first music show win in 2019. This year, the group is set to make different unit debuts, starting with Moonbin and Sanha’s unit that is set to debut in September. For now, you can check out their most recent song, “Knock”.

NU’EST
Five-member group NU’EST have faced a lot of difficulties since their debut on March 15, 2012. They almost disbanded and some of the members were forced to join the reality show Produce 101. Their appearance on the show piqued the interest of the public, and JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren were able to reunite and gain more and more fans. In 2019, they received their first music show win as five members. With their pleasing personalities and amazing vocals, who wouldn’t want to stan these lovable boys?
